Post-baccalaureate researcher with a First Class Honours BSc in Molecular, Cellular and Developmental Biology and more than three years of continuous wet-lab experience spanning molecular cloning, CRISPR/Cas9 genome engineering, and single-molecule imaging. Sequencing & Bioinformatics
NGS library preparation and sequencing on Illumina platforms; analysis in R and Python; ImageJ, CellProfiler, and Cellpose.
Strains & Cell Systems
Generation and maintenance of engineered strains in budding yeast, C. elegans, and mammalian cell lines; endogenous tagging with GFP and HaloTag; optogenetic control of protein interactions using CRY2; bacterial and viral handling.
Protein Work
Large-scale protein purification by HPLC and FPLC, electrophoretic mobility shift assays (EMSAs) for protein–nucleic acid and intrinsically disordered region interactions, and immunoblotting.
Microscopy
Confocal, widefield, spinning-disc, FRAP, single-particle tracking, and super-resolution microscopy on Leica SP8 and ZEISS Elyra 7 systems.
